You cannot go all the way to Dubai without taking the fastest elevator in the world to the top of the tallest building in the world.

A whopping 929.8-metres tall, the Burj Khalifa is a mega tall skyscraper that was opened in 2010 in Downtown Dubai.

The outdoor observation desk – aptly named “At the Top” – at 452-metres gives visitors an opportunity to look out at the city and all of its gorgeous architecture from a dizzy height, and take multiple photographs of the breath-taking views.

If that is not enough, and you want to spend some more time up in the clouds, there is the chance to dine at At.mosphere Restaurant on the 122 floor!

Situated at the foot of the Burj Kalifa, this attraction is easy to see on the same day as the tallest building in the world.

The world’s largest choreographed fountain system, the Dubai Fountain is 275-metres long and illuminated by 6 600 lights and 25 colour projectors.

The water that the Dubai Fountain projects reaches up to 500-feet in the air which is complimented by a wide selection of classical, contemporary Arabic and world music, ensuring variety and entertainment.

Go Skiing Indoors at Ski Dubai

Ski Dubai is the Middle East’s first indoor ski centre, and is home to an array of exciting activities and attractions the whole family can enjoy together.

A mountain-themed wintery setting ensures there are enough slopes for you to enjoy snowboarding, skiing and tobogganing, as well as a ski lift to get to the top.

Other activities include the Giant Ball run and a number of jumps and ramps where you can show off your snowy skills!

If you like shopping but prefer to browse for a bargain, the Dubai Souks are the place to visit. A souk is traditional Arabic market, and there are numerous spread throughout the city.

If you prefer something delicious to nibble on, the Spice Souk is where you need to go! Here, you will find sacks of fragrant spices, delicious nibbles and fresh fruit and vegetables.
