The Samsung Galaxy S8 have just arrived on shelves, only a few weeks ago, and as per the latest reports claim, Samsung has already started production of next year’s flagship, which is the Galaxy S9. While Galaxy S9 is busy with the coming S9, LG too is getting prepared to give Samsung a tough competition. LG is one of the first Android OEMs to release their flagship smartphone, with their last release LG G6. This device was launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. Now both of them are gearing up for the 2018 grand release.
There are a number of surprises with the Galaxy S9 like this is going to be the first Samsung smartphone to boast new AMOLED screen tech codenamed ‘Sunflower.’ Now there is another news the brand will work on its display for clarity.

Clash with LG G7
The report suggests that LG is speculated to unveil the coming flagship of the brand LG G7 in coming January itself. There is news that the company allegedly decided that LG G7 is slated to be released earlier than the usual time frame. Usually, LG follows the pattern of the launching of the flagship of the G series smartphones at the MWC show every year in the late February and then releases them later.
Price and Release date of Samsung Galaxy S9
Samsung has not yet revealed anything on the pricing for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. If anything to expect from the coming Samsung Galaxy S9 is that, it can be priced £750 while the Galaxy Plus phablet id expected to be priced at £900, SIM-free. With reports claiming that Samsung will start the production of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus this year, it is probably that the handset will debut earlier in the coming year and hints that Samsung could be planning a launch at MWC, next year.
The Galaxy S8 was available at a price of £700 and the Galaxy S8 Plus was priced at £900. Therefore, the price of the upcoming phablet is certainly going to be a little high this time and people are actually expecting the cost of the device to be a little pocket pinching. But it is definitely going to be worth every money because of its amazing features.
With the release, it will be interesting to see which phone can actually grab the attention of the buyers and who will win the battle: Samsung Galaxy S9 or LG G7!
