BlackBerry on Tuesday unveiled its BlackBerry DTEK50, its second phone powered by Google’s Android OS. Differ from the company’s first Android phone Priv, the BlackBerry’s DTEK 50 instead of its signature physical keyboard, this time, BlackBerry opts for a full screen. Which will be cost you $299.

DTEK50 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In addition to being the thinnest phone ever manufactured by Blackberry, it  has 5.2’’ full HD display capable of displaying 16 million colors. Made of scratch-resistant glass, the screen is treated with a dedicated oil-resistant coating to shield against fingerprint smudges.

DTEK50 has 13 MP rear and 8 MP front camera with flash, both equipped with a wide range of professional settings, together with live color filters and manual controls.

DTEK50’s Intelligent Smart Keyboard increases your typing speed and accuracy & also it provides word suggestions in up to three languages of your choice. While typing, you can swipe horizontally from left to right to delete the earlier word, and swipe vertically from top to bottom to toggle between letters, numbers, and characters.

Where BlackBerry DTEK50 is Available ?

DTEK50 is offered to pre-order from in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Spain, Italy, UK, France and The Netherlands for $299 USD ($429 CDN, €339, and £275).

DTEK50 will be offered in a number of channels around the world, together with more than 40 partners from electronics stores, carriers, VARs, and distributor’s which includes Rogers, Bell, TELUS, WIND, Videotron, and SaskTel among others in Canada.

In the U.S., DTEK50 at the start will be available in BestBuy, B&H, and Amazon. Availability of DTEK50 in other global channels and countries will be announced soon.
