JEE Main 2019: Locate Your Exam Centre Easily With NTA’s Digital Tool

JEE Main is all set up to be conducted from April 7, 2019. Apart from doing certain changes in the examination, NTA has also taken step to help out the students. According to the latest notification, the NTA has released their exam centre locator tool with the view of helping out the students to find the examination centre for JEE Main 2019.

 

NTA Tool for Locating Exam Centre

All candidates are recommended to be present at their respective exam centres 30 minutes in advance. In order to avoid any kind of delay arising for tracking the exam centre, the NTA has come up with their locator tool that will guide the candidates to the proper location. Candidates who are going to appear for the April 2019 session of JEE Main can reach out to their exact location using the location tracker tool. Candidates can access the locator tool by visiting the official website of JEE Main.

 

How to Use the Exam Centre Locator Tool?

Follow the below mentioned steps for using the centre locator tool:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main
  • Click on the button ‘Center Locator’.
  • Candidates will be provided with a drop list enlisting the names of exam centres.
  • Select your exam centre through names mentioned in the dropdown list.
  • Click on ‘View Location’.
  • Herein, the location of the exam centre will be displayed on the screen.

 

Important Points to Remember

Candidates must carry all the below mentioned documents before reaching the JEE Main Exam Center. The list of the required documents are as follows:

  • Downloaded copy of JEE Main Admit Card 2019.
  • A recent passport size photograph.
  • Valid Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, Pan Card, etc.).
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the following documents to their respective exam centres, failing which their entry will be restricted.

 

JEE Main 2019 Exam

The second session of JEE Main 2019 will be held in the online mode. The examinations will be held in different centres located in different cities across India as well as abroad. The exam will be conducted in two shifts from April 7 to April 12, 2019. The first shift will be in the morning from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift will be in the evening from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Candidates are recommended to check the exact exam centre and shift time mentioned on their respective admit card in order to avoid any kind of discrepancy or confusion.

 

JEE Main Result 2019

The JEE Main 2019 Result will be released on April 30, 2019. The scores will be further used for calculating the JEE Rank. If a candidate has appeared for both the sessions, the best score from both the sessions will be used for calculating the result.

Qualifying candidates will be further notified for the counselling session for taking forward the admission process.
